Welcome to Creekwood Acres!!
We raise and sell quality Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk and the show ring. We have a small farm on 10 acres in Magnolia, TX with a few horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats.
We started out by buying an entire herd of goats and two livestock guardian dogs from a family up near Dallas TX. They had some beautiful goats and we were very lucky to get quite a few Flat Rocks does and a buck from that purchase. We contacted Flat Rocks Farm and recieved all the paperwork we needed and so began our journey with Nigerian Dwarf goats!!
All of our goats are CAE/CL/Johnes and TB negative as of October 2018!!!
~UPDATE~
October 2018 - We scaled down our breedings last year due to welcoming a new little girl to our family. We were still able to attend a few shows in April and May with help from our family. Twincreeks Que Sera Sera won Grand and Reserve Grand at the Decatur Doedown in April. Our herd also won Supreme Dairy Herd and Supreme Dam and Daughter that day. We were so proud. We are now ramping back up with our breeding and showing here in 2019. We should have some beautiful babies available next spring. We are excited to get to see everyone again!
May 2015 - We just participated in our first Linear Appraisal and learned soooo much. Our appraiser was wonderful at explaining what to look for in a goats conformation and how it affects their movement, longevity, and production. Our scores were great too. Creekwood Acres Irish Spice scored an EEEE 91!!!!!!! Creekwood Acres KitKat scored an VEVE 89!!! We are so happy with both of these does... they have gone above and beyond what we hoped! We had some other impressive scores too... check out our Doe page to see more....
April 2015 - We just had a blast at the April Showers Show in Corsicana TX. It was wonderful seeing old friends and making new ones. Mini Pearl took 1st place in ring 2 and 3rd place in ring 1, Spicy and Copacabana both placed 2nd in their classes.
December 2014 -The barn is finally finished!!

We are back up and running with a new home for our Nigerian Dwarf herd. And just in time for kidding season! We have many beautiful does due in January and February. Please email if you are interested in reserving a kid for the spring!
In other news we would like to congratulate Susurrare Salix (Whispering Willow Nigerian Dwarf Goats) for Creekwood Acres April Surprise getting her milk star this year! She is milking 5.4lbs on a regular basis on her second freshening. We are so proud of her! |
